I think the best thing to come out of this article is seeing the true zealotry behind Ron Paul‘s candidacy. He’s really backed by fanatical, brainwashed children.
Ron Paul’s economic policy is flawed to the point where it would cause a greater economic crash than the one in 2008. He and his followers don’t totally understand how US economics work. They think magic somehow drives the Federal Reserve, and somehow without the magic, the economy will win out in the end. “Pure capitalism” is their chant. More like “broken capitalism.”
Also, since the US is no longer the fastest growing economy in the world, to totally isolate us from countries like China and those of South America would create a large GAP in employment for US citizens. Isolationism is not the answer. I agree we shouldn’t be deployed overseas as much as we are, and definitely not fighting in the Middle East, but we don’t isolate potential markets because Paulites think that the “US can take care of itself.”
I don’t see how someone with his educated background could be so delusional. Unless he believes his own crazy ramblings.
Fucking idiots. Doesn’t matter anyway – just like the PUMA people in 2008, when their candidate is dismissed for Mitt Romney, they’ll go sulk in a corner and disappear.
Of course, I welcome Ron Paulites to respond. Not that I’ll post your comments, but maybe we can have a civil discourse about it (not likely if their comments to the Ron Paul articles are any indication). I’d like to hear more of your colorful commentary.
