Unfortunately, every time I start talking about politics, I get slammed with a ton of excited comments. Most of them are insulting me for being analytical about their favorite candidates. The problem here is that the comments build up when I’m not on, so I can’t screen them properly. I had this problem back in 2008 when I didn’t properly screen my comments and things became instant flamewars and QQ sessions. So now everything is screened (not allowed to show up unless I say it does).
For example, today I came in and found 99 comments on the previous Two Down, SC to Go entry. I’m sure there are a few good ones in there, but page 1 was 10 comments that use the F word and claim I am gay for hating on Ron Paul. So I deleted all 10 pages of comments without approving any (or reading past page 2).
If your comment does not appear, do not fear. I get all comments in my email box, so I do read them. However, since it most likely fell between a comment that told me to perform the impossible act of sex with myself and a comment that called me a gay guy who likes to have sex with moms, it’s gone from my blog.
That’s just how it is.
HERE’S SOME GOOD ADVICE IF YOU WANT ME TO POST YOUR POLITICAL COMMENT -> DO NOT POST A LINK TO A POLITCAL AD IN YOUTUBE. I WILL NOT WATCH IT AND IT WILL BE INSTA-BAWEETED.
