Really, the Pittsburg Steelers had everything to lose, and they did. They really blew this Super Bowl with all their silly turnovers. I mean, the fumble? Three players stood there and watched the ball bounce around until the Packers recovered it. Way to go – you had the momentum and you totally blew it. Now I have to put up with smug ass Packer fans. XD
Anyway, Bill O’Reilly tried to trap Obama with a rather pointed statement – “Does it disturb you that so many people hate you?” – on the interview conducted on Fox before the game. To which Obama wisely pointed out that most people don’t hate him, per se, but those that do hate him, “What they hate is whatever funhouse image of you that’s out there.” Ba-zing!!
Translation – “What people hate is your misaligned, twisted version of me.”
Either way, I think Obama won by doing the interview, more than the Fox Network. If anything, it reiterated that the President is more intelligent and articulate than most haters want him to be. Which is hilarious in a way. They love talking about Nazis, but they hate talking to educated African Americans.
