The Republican party sent out “Census” fliers as a fund-raising scheme, but accidentally misprinted the number. Instead of connecting to the GOP home base, it linked thousands of callers to a phone sex service.
This is a bad sign for the GOP. First, the Tea Party people are splitting the Conservative vote during a critical Senate race year. Second, Sarah Palin and other Conservatives are bailing on the party during fund-raising time. Without those funds, the GOP may actually lose seats in this election, as they are forced to pick and chose very few battles.
Sex scandals are usually Democrat territory, but recently, it’s a Republican thing. Can’t follow along – check out this flowchart (you can add a decision tree there – “Does it link to a phone sex scandal?” and YES leads to Mike Steele).
