I think you're misunderstanding how a study of this would work:

I'd have a control group that was much like you said - they play female characters to oogle them.

But the real study group is the one that already has stated they prefer to be identified as the opposite sex all the time after having played an MMO. To find out if the MMO was a major catalyst in their eventual revelation that they like to cross-dress and/or act transgender.

I doubt if a study would help prove anything beyond one simple fact:
Gamer geeks/nerds like to look at digital boobs because it's easier than going out and facing real-life titties.

Even with restructuring in the Iranian government, the clerics control things. The Ayatollah is the real leader and as long as the hard line clerics are around, no meaningful change will come about.

As for the future problems, there will be another mini-recession soon. It happens every time there's a major slump followed by a slight gain. The gain wasn't built on anything more than governmental assistance to shore up failing companies. Once the government gets to the point where they can't offer any more help, we'll slump again. It won't be as far down as the first time, but it'll happen. After that, companies will have to shuffle things to rebuild investor confidence. The so-called Recession Bubble occurs in almost every recession regardless of the country because governments seem to have an inherent need to overreact and flood the market with currency to prevent mainstay companies from failing.

I'll say this again, in defense of Presidents in general:

People who expect Presidents to change policy on a whim and promise are not properly educated on how law in this country works.

Congress passes laws, and the President signs them. Even if the President VETOs a law, Congress can still override him. The Supreme Court can find a law unconstitutional, but Congress can still override the Supreme Court.

Which means if nothing's changing law-wise, it's Congress's fault and not so much the President's. If the Republicans choose to stand off and not allow anything to get through Congress, what can Obama do? Fire them? Nag them? Threaten them?

He's tried making peace with them. The GOP has chosen to resist any change for the sake of partisanship. Even their supporters know this, and (as evidenced in New York's senate election) they are basically taking action to steer the GOP away from their own leadership. Public opinion of Congress is at an all time low, with over 50% of those polled saying they are extremely displeased with Republicans in Congress.

There's nothing right now anyone can do until 2010. I think we'll start clearing more hurdles after the elections next year.

You are right about one thing, though - Obama made a lot of promises he couldn't keep without over 50% of Congress agreeing with him. Since 50% of Congress is resisting, his promises are not being kept and no progress is being made, which looks bad on him.

I've seen your blog - your posts border on ignorant complaining about stuff you don't seem to understand. Most of it is purely baiting people to disagree with you for the hits. I almost didn't dignify you with a response because you act childish and troll people.

I voted for Obama but have been disappointed.

I cannot find evidence of any change that he promised.

He blames Republicans for the continuuing partisanship, but Obama has not done anything to heal the wounds.

He has not kept a single one of his campaign promises to us - NOT ONE!

Aside from appoinitng extremists as his czars, he has not performed a single liberal act.

He still keeps campaigning for change, but he does nothing for change.

It is time to stop campaigning and start leading.

Until then Obama has proven that he is just more fo the same old same old.

Nothing has changed.

I noticed that yesterday as a prime example with the voip function as I jumped on a random server to test out the co-op fun. Yes I think its the netcode that was shoddy for the voip. I tested the theory out with using teamspeak and it was fine game worked great as long you didn't use the voice function and used some other voip.
