Watch this video:
How The Military Should Work Today
I have only two things to remark:
- What’s interesting is that he says that we should not be accountable for mistakes in wartime. That’s the shit that actually comes back to haunt the US in other countries. We want people like Saddam to be held accountable for his war crimes, but not our own forces? We need that back-end group to assess the actions of the Leviathan force and then boot people when they fucked up previous. People who kill civilians wontonly without a reason or need should be put in jail almost instantly after the invasion is over. You don’t win friends by having a select bunch of over-zealous idiots running around in your military. The Leviathan force has to be educated to a degree they know how to conduct themselves within certain limits that don’t yank the soapbox out from under the US internationally.
- The oversight has to be stronger, the money distribution tighter, and the “Sys Admin” portion has to be able to tell contractors how much they are going to pay with no bullshit like “Well, we need another $billion because we stood around for six months doing nothing.” That shit has got to stop and the International community has to tell the US that it has to stop.
Good presentation, though. Very thought provoking.
Hattip to Agent #1.
are you the mcclaud posting on “Stuff White People Like” blog?
if so you are so entirely clueless it’s a wonder you know how to blink.
Oh wow.
How clever and original. You come up with that on your own, or are you just posting that EVERYWHERE when you run into someone you don’t agree with?
I posted twice in one entry on that blog. I’m not “posting” as in “continuing to post” on that blog after I made an attempt at humor on a blog made for humor that apparently all the humorless assbags are ragging on.
Does that have anything to actually do with this particular entry, or are you just rushing over to try and troll me for having an opinion about Conservative douchebags who think that protecting freedom means limiting it with invasions of privacy and expanding capitalism to the expense of our own nation’s lower classes?
