Because as it is Friday, the news literally goes out to lunch fairly early, and apparently terrorists like to take it easy on the weekends. So there is absolutely nothing newsworthy to bitch about.
I dreaded checking on my blog today as I had made a blog entry that could be taken totally out of context with this Catholic … priest? Minister? Not exactly sure, as all I read was that he had abandoned the Evangelical type church to come work his way up to Dean in the Catholic one. Which sounds quite nice. But back on topic, I was dreading that my comment box would be full of angry people calling me a “Godless heathen” or some other crap that would make me wish I hadn’t written it. However, I think they must be better people than I hoped because only four comments were left, three which were somewhat quasi-religious and angry, and one that was spam.
So thank you for not filling up my comment/e-mail box with bollocks.
Oh, I guess there was one newsworthy thing, and that’s all the gossip about the next Nobel Prize winner. Al Gore is in there, and I’m sure that sometime over the weekend, I’ll flip by Fox Retar – I mean, News – and see some Conservative asshole talking shit and being angry because a prominent Democrat has the potential to win a Nobel Prize. I’m of the mind that I hope he does so all my emo-Conservative friends go jump off a bridge together and I won’t have to listen to them bitch about the loss of American values (i.e. bullshit) ever again.
