Iran Diplomacy Attitude Meter
September 21, 2007 by mcclaud
I’m going to set up a little thing at the top of my posts called an IDAM - or Iran Diplomacy Attitude Meter. Everytime the US or a Federal department makes a statement or threat about diplomacy towards Iran, it will show up with the appropriate change. For example:
IDAM FOR TODAY: BOMB
At some point, I’m going to read back through the blog and take count of all the different changes and post a score for you, too. I think the last time I counted it was 4 Bomb, 4 Talk. So this would be 5 Bomb, 4 Talk.
The Administration has a plan to spend trillions of dollars on building a relationship with Iraq. Meanwhile, we’ve manage to only secure 8% of Baghdad in six years. Survey says … Administration sucks balls when it comes to progress.
Good to know the GOP is falling apart on the inside. Anyone else who feels the Republicans are no longer worth supporting are free to join the EmCeeKhan Party. We vote according to character, past performance and policy - not on religious stance or personality. Right now, we prefer Barack Obama to Hilarity, Romney or Giuliani, and we seriously dislike everyone else. Ron Paul would be funny if he won, but no bets there.
Following up on my statement from yesterday, it appears that MoveOn completely understands their rights to free speech. Good for them. Not that they actually say anything worth listening to, but at least our rights are still intact. I wish they’d just stop using bad slogans and ignore stupid people.
